NTIYA-NTIYA ON HIS STAY AT CHIEFS

“I think every player, regardless of the club, wants to play week in and week out for his team. That is what makes us happy as players,” Ntiya-Ntiya told latest Soccer Laduma.

“But we’ve also got to be realistic that things will not always happen as per one’s wish and that’s why I’m saying I was not satisfied, and the only reason for that is that I would have loved to play more, just like any other player would want that.

“It wasn’t my decision [to leave the club], and even if I still wanted to stay, a decision had already been made. I don’t regret anything, and I just have to be proud of whatever I managed to do and achieve.

“Whether I contributed to the team’s improvement or messed up, that I don’t know. I am just appreciative of the opportunity that I got to play for the team, and that’s all. Sometimes it’s better to look at things in a positive way than negatively.”
