According to the Soccer Laduma website, Mogaila’s stay at The Rockets come to an end in June 2022 with sources confirming the 26-year-old is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.

While TS Galaxy will no doubt be eager to hold onto the speedy winger and have reportedly offered him a new three-year deal to stay, he will be eligible to sign a pre-contract with another club when the January transfer window opens next week.

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates have been long-term admirers of the University of Johannesburg graduate, but the latest news is that they are not the only team vying for the player!

Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize’s KwaZulu-Natal side Royal AM have reportedly joined the race for Mogaila’s signature.

Since purchasing the top-flight status of Bloemfontein Celtic for a reported R50 million at the start of the current campaign, MaMkhize is yet to make any notable signings.

Orlando Pirates could lose Shaune Mogaila to Royal AM

However, indications are that Royal AM – who have fared remarkably well in the 2021/22 season to date – could look to make Mogaila their first addition to the team.

Royal AM are seventh in the DStv Premiership standings at the Christmas break, just four points behind second-placed Orlando Pirates AND they have payed two fewer matches.

Mogaila has made six appearances for TS Galaxy in all competitions this season.
