Sekhukhune United land another former Kaizer Chiefs player!

Sekhukhune United have continued to bolster their squad for the new campaign with the acquisition of another former Kaizer Chiefs player.

Sekhukhune United have continued to bolster their squad for the new campaign with the acquisition of another former Kaizer Chiefs player.

Just over a week ago, Sekhukhune signed Daniel Cardoso who was let go by Chiefs, and on Wednesday, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya joined the ambitious outfit.

Ntiya-Ntiya was released by Chiefs alongside Ramahlwe Mphahlele at the end of June, and this was expected given his lack of game time at the Naturena-based outfit.

Now, Ntiya-Ntiya has found a new home at Sekhukhune United with CEO Jonas Malatji confirming that the left-back had been training with the team for a while.

“Ntiya-Ntiya has been training with us and he ultimately signed,” Malatji told Daily Sun.

Ntiya-Ntiya joins Victor Letsoalo as the two latest signings by Sekhukhune United but the latter is expected to be unveiled some time next week.

Letsoalo’s move to Sekhukhune came as a surprise because Royal AM had slapped a R20 million price tag on his head to fend off interest from other PSL clubs.

Both Chiefs and Orlando Pirates were reported to be interested in Letsoalo but instead, Royal AM chose to do business with Sekhukhune United.
