OFFICIAL: Sekhukhune United appoint Brandon Truter as coach

Sekhukhune United have officially announced the appointment of Brandon Truter as their new head coach for the next three years.

In a statement released on Friday, Sekhukhune confirmed that Truter’s contract will run at least until 2025.

The statement further states that Truter will be assisted by MacDonald Makhubedu who previously held the position of ‘senior coach’ at the club.

Truter had been without a club since his departure from AmaZulu who felt the team wasn’t moving in the right direction after losing to Richards Bay FC on 5 October.

Sekhukhune United will hope he brings a change of fortunes and positive results when the season resumes at the end of December.

Under Tembo, Sekhukhune United won just two league matches and find themselves in the bottom half of the PSL log.

This is Truter’s third DStv Premiership club as he previously coached Swallows FC and AmaZulu. Prior to that, Truter coached Richards Bay FC.
