Serero on the brink of leaving Al Jazira

Kaizer Chiefs and Sundowns interested in ‘Cream’

According to reports from UnplayableZA on Twitter, ex-Bafana midfield maestro Thulani Serero will not be extending his stay with Al Jazira when his current deal expires at the end of this month. The same source believes both Chiefs and Downs have registered an interest in the 33-year-old midfield maestro.

If Serero were to receive a lucrative offer from a Saudi Pro League club, could anybody blame him if he spurned a return to the PSL? He certainly fits the profile of players currently being recruited to that part of the world. N’Golo Kante is no spring chicken, and neither are Wilf Zaha and Karim Benzema.
