The era of new AmaZulu head coach Romain Folz starts with a tough task against Orlando Pirates on Friday – and he says he knows what their opponents can do.

The 32-year-old tactician recently replaced Brandon Truter who parted ways with Usuthu last week.

The KwaZulu-Natal outfit will be looking to end a winless run as they haven’t tasted victory in their last five games.

They currently occupy ninth place in the DStv Premiership standings having collected 11 points after nine games.

After the Pirates clash, AmaZulu will then play host to Maritzburg United in a league game on 19 October and Kaizer Chiefs in an MTN8 semi-final second-leg encounter on 23 October.

Folz says he is looking to make amendments of what was not going right.

FOLZ ON USUTHU’S NEXT THREE GAMES

“It is always trying to fix what was not going right and the importance of the next three games and the opponents, I look at every game the same way,” Folz said told AmaZulu website.

“Of course, we are aware of what they can do, how they play and what we can expect from them.

“But we won’t change the way we approach the game. Whether we play Pirates, Maritzburg, or Chiefs, we will approach the game the same.”

The match between Pirates and AmaZulu will kick-off at 19:30.
