Pirates having a clearout

But there are many other players who have been linked with exits from Pirates ahead of next season. These players could include younger squad members who could be seen as future assets to the club. On the other side of the spectrum, it could be experienced players that the club, which they could be trying to cash in on.

This publication reported earlier in the week, that, at least three fan favourites could still leave Pirates. One of the players is thought to be an experienced player in winger Vincent Pule. According to Soccer-Laduma, SuperSport United are circling around him.

Pule to be affected?

“ Word reaching the Siya crew during what is expected to be a frantic transfer window indicates that SuperSport United could be targeting an Orlando Pirates star. As things stand, winger Vincent Pule remains contracted to the Buccaneers until 2025, but it is obvious that he is no longer in coach Jose Riviero’s plan. Soccer-Laduma understands that his ex-coach from Bidvest Wits, Gavin Hunt would be keen to have him on board. This to beef up his young squad and bring experience.” Wrote the publication.

Pule only made 11 appearance for Pirates last season. With them looking to refresh their attack for next season, it could be better for Pule to find a new challenge.
