Sundowns one of five PSL sides unbeaten in 5+ league matches

Mamelodi Sundowns are flying high in the DStv Premiership, seven points clear of nearest challengers SuperSport. Rhulani’s men have won eight league matches on the bounce and look in ominous form. Third-placed Richards Bay, undoubtedly the surprise package of 2022-23, are flying high in their debut campaign. Their current nine-game unbeaten run in the PSL shows that it isn’t a fluke.

Downs must permeate virtually watertight Richards Bay

The PSL newcomers have exceeded all expectations in their debut top-flight campaign. Under the tutelage of Pitso Dladla and Vasili Manousakis, they’ve conceded just six goals in 14 league encounters. The Natal Rich Boys haven’t lost since August 24th against SuperSport. Since then, they’ve kept seven clean sheets in nine. If anybody can breach a stubborn defence, though, it’s likely to be a Sundowns side in irresistible form.
