Rhulani Mokwena: I don’t know where these doubters come from

Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rhulani Mokwena seems confused as to how people doubt his side considering its dominance in recent years.

Masandawana secured a 2-1 win over Golden Arrows on Saturday evening at the TUKS Stadium to retain top spot in the DStv Premiership standings.

RHULANI MOKWENA ON SUNDOWNS’ DOUBTERS

Bafana Ba Style have had an uncharacteristic start after losing two matches in the eight games they have played so far this season.

Knowing Sundowns’ calibre, this prompted questions on whether it was the beginning of their downfall.

During the Arrows’ post-match interview, Mokwena was asked if the players were starting to regain confidence after having a mixed start to the new season.

“Well, I don’t know where the doubt comes from, I hear a lot of people are doubting this team, I don’t know where the doubt comes from to be honest,” Mokwena told SuperSport TV.

“We trust them and they know that, they trust themselves and we know that and this is the same team that has only lost, how many games is it now, six games in the last two years, so I don’t know where the doubt comes from, we keep going.”
