Many believe this has been Chiefs’ best ‘recruitment drive’ for quite some time, and there are talks that there could still be one or two more signings secured by Amakhosi before next season.

Interestingly, KickOff.com suggests the Soweto giants are still actively pursuing three attacking options, and that one potential new signing could even be unveiled in the coming days.

Notably, the article also states that two of the possible player considerations for Amakhosi have not previously been linked to the club, and have never featured in the PSL before.

A quality number nine signing is a priority for Amakhosi at this stage, so it will certainly be worthwhile to watch this space.

To recap, these are the new Chiefs players who have come IN:

  • Dillan Solomons
  • Kamohelo Mahlatsi
  • Lehlogonolo George Matlou
  • Siyethemba Sithebe
  • Ashley Du Preez
  • Zitha Kwinika
  • Yusuf Maart
  • Mduduzi Shabalala (*promoted from the Chiefs Reserve side set to bolster the Glamour Boys’ quest for glory).

Finally, these are the players we think Amakhosi could still realistically recruit:

  • Pule Mmodi (*talks ongoing)

  • Fiston Mayele (*unlikely but not beyond realms of possibility)

The team has recently returned to training, with Chiefs sharing several images on their social media channels
