Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane has retired from football at the age of 39.

In a video clip posted on Twitter and Instagram, the playmaker confirmed he was ending his career which spanned over two decades.

‘Yeye’, as he is affectionately known, joined Amakhosi in 2008 at age 26 and became an integral member of the club’s midfield.

He made 183 appearances in all competitions for the Glamour Boys before signing for SuperSport United in 2016.

At various stages of his career he also enjoyed stints at Hellenic, Dangerous Darkies, PJ Stars, Jomo Cosmos, Highlands Park and TS Galaxy.

In addition, Reneilwe Letsholonyane has 50 Bafana Bafana caps to his name.
