Stellenbosch FC have announced the departure of defender Kristopher Bergman from the club with immediate effect.

Bergman’s contract with Stelleies is coming to an end today, 30 June, and the Western Cape outfit decided not to offer him a new deal.
The club took to its social media platforms to announce the news of Bergman’s departure on Wednesday.

Bergman, 32, had been with Stellenbosch for two seasons since arriving from Chippa United in 2019, and featured in 20 competitive matches in his debut season.

However, he fell down the pecking order this past season, managing just four competitive appearances for Stellies under coach Steve Barker.
The club is expected to make further announcements on the player movements in the coming days.
