PSL: ‘2 000 fans allowed back!’ BUT there is a BIZARRE problem!

Irvin Khoza has finally made a massive announcement on the the latest proceedings with PSL fans desperate to return to stadiums after almost 2 years BUT their is a problem.

After Bafana Bafana were allowed 2000 supporters to the FNB Stadium for their match against Zimbabwe, there was hope of a return to fans to stadiums.

However, months later, their have been no fans allowed to any PSL match – including the Soweto and Tshwane derbies with Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United supporters not allowed into the stadium.

Khoza finally issued an explanation to the lack of fans despite being allowed 2000 fans in the stadium:

“So far as the issue of the fans or whatever, I can’t say much, that’s all going to depend on the government agreeing in terms of allowing us extra numbers,” he said at the launch of the DStv Compact Cup on Monday,”

“When we were given a number of 2000 it was attractive to some from the outside but it’s also challenging to us as an executive committee because there’s a requirement in terms of our contracts of suppliers and sponsors,” stated Khoza to iDiskiTimes.

2000 fans are technically allowed in but the PSL cannot reach an agreement with shareholders.

Meaning, they will only allow fans in when an agreement can be reached or government allows more fans.
