Polokwane City and SuperSport United square off in what could be an interesting tussle in the PSL at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Rise and Shine have been the surprise package this season, sitting pretty in second place on the PSL log.

Polokwane beat Kaizer Chiefs in their last league game, and will fancy their shot at taking down another one of the league’s bigger teams.

Coach Zlatko Krmpotic, however, has warned that fatigue could be a factor for his players.

“We have three games in seven games and the players are tired. Highlands didn’t play last week, while Highlands were resting,” Krmpotic said.

“I must make three or four changes every game to refresh the team. It’s a big problem, games are coming in thick and fast and there is no time to rest.”

United are fourth on the PSL standings and SuperSport head coach Kaitano Tembo was pleased to see his midfielders finding form when they played Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 earlier in the weak.

Teboho Mokoena and Jamie Webber both scored and coach will be hoping for more of the same over the weekend.

“This season we’ve got goals coming in from different angles. We got two young midfielders scoring the goals,” Tembo said.

“That’s what we have been preaching to have a lot of our attacking players contributing in terms of scoring goals.”
