Pitso Mosimane’s son was captured whilst training with a Barcelona satellite academy in Cairo. Take a look at the youngster in action below.

Pitso Mosimane’s son Reatlegile set social media abuzz this week after pictures of the youngster in Barcelona academy colours emerged.

Initial reports suggested that the son of Pitso Mosimane has joined Barcelona’s famed academy La Masia however the matter has since been cleared up by Mosimane’s managing agency.

Barcelona’s academy is arguably the most recognized footballing academy in history having produced the likes of Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandes, Adreas Iniesta and Sergio Busquets amongst others.

It however has since been established that Pitso Mosimane’s son was actually participating in a football summer camp conducted by a Barcelona satellite academy in Cairo, and not the actual La Masia academy.

Reatlegile Mosimane NOT on trial at La Masia

“Coach Mosimane’s son Reatlegile, was not trialling with Barcelona,” Pitso Mosimane’s representatives MT Sports Marketing & Management told Kick-off.

“He was in fact training with the Barcelona franchise team whilst he was on school holiday in Egypt. Those students who attend the training are required to pay.”

It’s not the first time that Pitso Mosimane’s son has made the headlines in Egypt. He was recently captured showing off his skills during an Al Ahly training session and you can watch the video of it below.

Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly will be gearing up for their crunch CAF Champions League final against familiar foes in Kaizer Chiefs. The two teams will meet on 17 July 2021 in Casablanca, Morocco. The winner between the two teams will book their spot at the prestigious FIFA Club World Cup.
