Pitso Mosimane suffered just his second defeat at Al Ahli Saudi Club, which ended his side’s impressive 5-game winning streak

Pitso Mosimane’s dream winning run at Al Ahli Saudi Club came to an abrupt halt tonight.

Mosimane’s team were on a five-match winning streak which saw them surge to the top of the log standings.

Fellow title contenders Al Riyadh FC however we having none of it. Pitso Mosimane’s side were brought back to earth after going down 2-0 on Sunday night.

The good news for ‘Jingles’ is that his side remain top of the log, however second placed Al Hazm are two points behind, with a game in hand.

Pitso Mosimane’s dream winning streak comes to an end

The legendary South African coach who’s now in charge of Saudi Arabian second tier side Al Ahli suffered just his second defeat since joining the club.

Pitso Mosimane’s side were defeated by Al Riyadh FC 2-0 courtesy of goals by Muralha and Al Habashi.

The loss means the title race is as wide open as ever, with all of the top four teams still in the hunt.
