Respect: McCarthy gets message from Mosimane on Klate

Chippa United must be embarrassed. Pitso Mosimane and Benni McCarthy have shown solidarity towards Daine Klate after he was sacked by the Chilly Boys.

CHIPPA UNITED FIRE DAINE KLATE

As The South African website reported on Thursday, DStv Premiership club Chippa shocked the football fraternity. The club made a 28th coaching change in 10 years when Klate was dismissed after seven games.

PITSO MOSIMANE SENDS MESSAGE TO BENNI MCCARTHY AND DAINE KLATE

Following the dramatic news, McCarthy went out on social media to express warm support to Klate.

Additionally, the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has since passed on his own rather encouraging note to the duo.

“Benni McCarthy, thanks for showing leadership and bravery to support Daine Klate. He showed a lot determination and passion. He still has a lot of time on his side in this space,” he said on Twitter.

To Klate, Pitso said the following: “You have everything on your side to make it, and we are there to support you in everything you need,” he added. 

“Benni McCarthy is a genuine person and will never leave you in the lurch. When I first saw you playing for Sports School and I said, he is the one! Rest is history.”
