Kaizer Chiefs are closing in on a MASSIVE technical team signing ahead of next season!

According to reports, the Glamour Boys are in advanced talks with Pitso Mosimane’s trusted performance analyst Musi Matlaba.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly analyst has been unemployed since last month, after leaving Al Ahly with Pitso Mosimane.

And reports now suggest a blockbuster return to the PSL is on the cards for Matlaba.

Kaizer Chiefs have already completed the signing of a top sports scientist in Muzi Maluleke ahead of next season.

Kaizer Chiefs closing in on Pitso Mosimane’s trusted analyst!

“Kaizer Chiefs and Pitso Mosimane have developed a good working relationship and he committed himself to helping them out in any way they need.” a source told Citizen.

“That is why it was not a surprise to hear that Chiefs are talking to Matlaba who is Pitso’s right hand man. He will definitely be a good addition to the club’s technical team,”

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly taken a decision on one of the strikers that were on trial at Naturena.

Former TS Galaxy striker Wayde Lekay was on trial with the hope of securing a permanent move to Naturena over the last fortnight.

Things haven’t gone to plan for Lekay with the latest reports suggesting the Glamour Boys have opted against signing him!

Kaizer Chiefs got rid of Leonardo Castro, Samir Nurkovic, Bernard Parker and Lazarous Kambole at the end of last season.

The only striking reinforcement they’ve officially made thus far is that of the arrival of Ashley Du Preez.
