According to a notable report on Soccer Laduma, Congolese playmaker Karim Kimvuidi – who has been linked to Mamelodi Sundowns – could instead be set to be lured to Pirates.

“As it stands now, Pirates are the favourites,” a source was quoted as saying, before adding: “What Pirates have offered is enticing and hard to resist.”

It was also stated that the deal could involve a player plus cash exchange.

Peprah was believed to have the option to join Tanzania giants Simba SC in a win-win for all parties, but a more recent report by popular online source Unplayable suggests he could instead end up at Azam FC.

THERE ARE EXPECTED TO BE A FEW COMINGS-AND-GOINGS THIS SEASON

Peprah arrived in South Africa with great expectations a couple of seasons ago, but the move hasn’t worked out, and apparently the Soweto side will now look to part ways with him after a period on loan.

“They have been monitoring his progress, unfortunately the technical team is not happy with him,” said a Phakaaathi source. “He was supposed to show them that he deserves to play for Pirates, but he has failed, dismally.

“They will be putting him on the transfer list come the end of the season, they don’t think he will add value to the team.”
