According to iDiski Times, highly-rated All Stars playmaker Siphelo Baloni – who has been one of the most effective midfielders in the Motsepe Foundation Championship – has been snapped up by Pirates.
It’s reported that he has signed with the Soweto giants on a three-year deal after impressing in the Nedbank Cup round of 32.

It’s been an incredible season for Orlando Pirates under coach Jose Riveiro, with the MTN8 champions having also lifted the Nedbank Cup on Saturday to complete a double.
In addition, they finished second in the DStv Premiership, and ultimately they have banked a total of R24 million in 2022/23.
It means there will be some substantial spending money for Pirates to play with, and more signings are expected to follow in the next transfer window.

As reported by leading SABC Sport journalist Mazola Molefe earlier this month, goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi is set to join Pirates. The 25-year-old – who has impressed for TS Galaxy this season and earned a Bafana call-up last November – will bolster the team’s competition in front of goal.

Furthermore, the length of the contract seems to be a lengthy one.
“Buthelezi is a top goalkeeper, I am happy for him and this move will also help him when it comes to Bafana Bafana. He signed three years with a two-year option to extend,” a close source confirmed to iDiski Times.
