Former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns star Benedict ‘Tso’ Vilakazi has hit out at Kaizer Chiefs’ management.

According to ‘Tso’, the Amakhosi’s management structure are fully responsible for the club’s downward spiral.

Chiefs have gone nine years without lifting a single piece of silverware. Their arch rivals on the other hand continue to significantly improve their standards with each passing season.

According to Vilakazi, the club ‘forgot’ to invest in their team over the last decade. Take a look at his full rant below.

They’ve lost Kaizer Chiefs as a whole – Vilakazi

“I want to make an example. When (Patrice) Motsepe took over at Sundowns, he was buying players and everyone was saying money can’t buy you success. While Sundowns are busy doing that, Chiefs forgot to work and to build their team. That’s why you find Chiefs struggling,” Vilakazi said as quoted by Soccer Laduma.

“They have lost their culture, their philosophy and their way of playing. They’ve lost Kaizer Chiefs as a whole. You can’t say it’s money, money, money. If you don’t have money to challenge Sundowns. Why can’t you take whatever money you have and go to development.

“That’s why I say they forget what made them to be great. It’s their development. Check the history of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. When Chiefs and Pirates players used to come from the development, they would shine.”
