The Namibian scored Masandawana’s second (from the penalty spot) and third goals at Loftus Versfeld as the hosts beat the Soweto giants 4-0 in the DStv Premiership.

“You know, it’s all about belief,” Shalulile said, according to KickOff.

“Eventually, the breakthrough needed to come and you see now that this is the breakthrough and I believe this is all I wanted – to score goals and I believe there is more to come.

The first of Shalulile’s goals was a successful penalty conversion, and the 28-year-old revealed that he expects to be taking most of the spot kicks for the rest of the campaign.

“Yes, definitely because I’ve been training penalties and they believe I can take all the penalties.

“So, for me moving forward it’s just to score every game, score every opportunity I get and hopefully break the record again.”

Shalulile won the Golden Boot award last season after netting 23 goals which was more than SEVEN teams managed to achieve in total!

He also walked away with the honour of top scorer in the 2019/20 season when he scored 16 goals while playing for Highlands Park.

Shalulile will next get the chance to add to his tally when Mamelodi Sundowns travel to face Sekhukhune United on Saturday, 20 August.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.
