Bafana Bafana striker Zakhele Lepasa has reacted to his loan move to SuperSport United which came as a shock to the majority of Orlando Pirates fans.

Lepasa was considered one of the bright stars of the Pirates team at the start of the season but he would later fall down in the pecking order.

According to Pirates coach Jose Riveiro, Lepasa requested to be loaned out after his struggles with game time in recent months and the club agreed.

The arrival of Cameroonian striker Souaibou Marou also dented Lepasa’s hopes of reclaiming his spot in the Pirates starting line-up.

Lepasa expressed his delight at joining SuperSport United, and he’s already looking forward to contributing to the team’s success.

“I am very excited to be here and I’m hoping to add value in the team especially upfront and getting results,” Lepasa told SuperSport United media.
“I’m looking forward to meeting the SuperSport United fans this weekend when we play CapeTownCityFC .I promise to give my all,” he said.
