For the first time since its launch in 2011, the 2021 Carling Black Label Cup will be played in in front of an empty stadium.

According to the organizers of the event, the only two fans who will be at the venue are the two Champion coaches that will be chosen as winners to lead both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.
And this is to try and curb the spread of Covid-19.
However, those who will be watching the match from the comfort of their homes will still get to be involved in the match via Twitter.

Carling Black Label has introduced five exciting game changers for this year’s event where fans will still get to be part of the titanic clash.
Both Pirates and Chiefs fans will have an opportunity to choose the formations for their teams, select captains, penalty takers, make substitutions and select their preferred man of the match.

The match will take place on 31 July 2021 at the Orlando Stadium.

Kick-off is scheduled for 8PM.
