It will be a straight shootout between Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United for the second and final CAF Champions League berth next season.

Heading into next Saturday’s final round of DStv Premiership fixtures, the sides are tied on 51 points.

Neither can catch champions Mamelodi Sundowns, nor be caught by the current fourth-placed side, Kaizer Chiefs.

Whoever does end second will join Masandawana in representing South Africa in next season’s premier African club tournament while the third-placed side will enter the CAF Confederation Cup.

Both sides will be on the road next weekend with both playing at 15:00.

Orlando Pirates will take on 12th-placed side AmaZulu, while SuperSport United will travel to play seventh-placed side Sekhukhune United.

The Buccaneers boast a goal differential of +15 while Matsatsantsa are slightly worse off at +13.
