AmaZulu boss hits out at Orlando Pirates goalkeeper

Sandile Zungu has since hit out at Richard Ofori who was involved in yet another nasty aerial clash.

The Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was involved in two collisions at the Moses Mabhida Stadium last weekend.

Lehlohonolo Majoro and Ramahlwe Mphahlele were both recklessly clattered into by Ofori, and this has left Zungu highly irritated.

“Defintely he [Mphahlele] will not play against Sundowns in the Carling Black label Cup,” a furious Zungu said as quoted by IdiskiTimes.

“I mean that Ofori guy has messed up two of my players and it’s the same kind of concussion. Concussion is a serious injury, but he won’t play.”

In other news, Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has warned Kaizer Chiefs that there’ll be nothing friendly about this weekend’s Soweto derby.

The Buccaneers and Amakhosi face off in Saturday’s first Carling Black Label Championship semifinal at the FNB Stadium.
