Former Orlando Pirates striker Gabadinho Mhango has made a BOLD claim.

Now at AmaZulu FC, the star believes he’s the ‘Greatest Of All Time’ in Malawi.

Mhango has 62 goals and 14 assists in the PSL, having represented the likes of Bidvest Wits, Golden Arrows and Bloemfontein Celtic in the past.

The former Orlando Pirates star also won the 2019/20 league top goalscorer award.

Former Orlando Pirates star makes ‘GOAT’ claim

“I am the GOAT (greatest of all time) of Malawi.” the former Orlando Pirates star told KickOff.

“To be honest that’s how people take it. But to tell you the truth there are better players over there in Malawi.

“I’m hoping to become one of the best in Malawi, but when it comes to the latest achievements yes I’m the GOAT.

“I can’t say I’m on the same level as Messi though, Messi is on another level. I’m not sure who is the GOAT in the PSL though because every day there’s a new player who impresses.”

In other news Former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs striker Siphelele Mthembu has completed a move to a PSL side according to reports.

‘Shaka Zulu’ was unemployed since parting ways with AmaZulu last season.

Mthembu has secured his immediate future after signing for Motsepe Foundation Championship side Pretoria Callies according to reports.

The 35-year-old striker played over 270 matches in the top flight and will undoubtedly benefit Kwanele Kopo’s side both on and off the field.

“Siphelele (Mthembu) has signed a six-month-deal with Pretoria Callies. It’s a done deal.” a source told Thisisfootball regarding the former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker.

“He has a chance to extend, it will depend on how he performs. They also looked at his age, that’s why they only signed him until the end of the season.

“Coach Kopo believes that Mthembu can help the team as they struggled in the first half of the season. In fact, they signed him believing he will score goals.”
