Paseka Mako’s agent calm on Orlando Pirates future

The Sea Robbers are now advancing in negotiations with Mako and his camp over new terms. His agent, Basia Michaels, sounds confident that an agreement will be struck between her client and the club.

“He is very much a Pirates player, and like I have been upfront with you before, such matters are left to the club to make announcements in due time,” Michaels said.

Mako adjusting to bit-part Bucs role

In the 2021-22 campaign, Mako made 33 appearances across all competitions for the Sea Robbers. This term, he’s playing second and even third fiddle to club captain Innocent Maela and evergreen and versatile Namibian Deon Hotto, respectively. There’s still scope for Mako to work his way back into Jose Riveiro’s plans, however, as the Spaniard has not been shy to adopt various tactical approaches, systems and formations.
