Ronaldo Maarman will join up with Orlando Pirates for their pre-season camp after impressing during his loan spell at All Stars!

Orlando Pirates look set to welcome loanee Ronaldo Maarman back to the club.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is yet to feature for the Buccaneers since joining the club from Chippa United.

He joined the Mayfair side at the beginning of the season and was immediately loaned out to Cape Town All Stars.

Maarman has been making headlines for his performances with All Stars.

The Orlando Pirates man scored a stunning goal against Swallows FC in the ongoing PSL promotion playoffs.

“Yes I am still contracted to Orlando Pirates. It’s until 2026 and it is a three-year contract with an option of two years,” Maarman told iDiskiTimes.

“My loan is done at Cape Town All Stars. I’m going back to Pirates for pre-season. It’s only gonna make me better.

“If you don’t raise your game then they’ll leave you behind, you will have to improve.

“For me I’m not in a rush. I just wanna take it as it comes and prove myself and prepare for an opportunity.

“When it comes I am ready and I will stabilise my name with Orlando Pirates.

“I’m not focused on if they have a plan or whatever. I’m going to prove myself and improve as a player and a person.”

In the latest incoming transfer news, the Buccaneers confirmed two new signings!

Golden Arrows defender Nkosinathi Sibiya and AmaZulu defender Tapelo Xoki have joined Orlando Pirates.

This comes just days after the club announced the axing of Thulani Hlatshwayo.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm they have reached an agreement with Golden Arrows for the transfer of Nkosinathi Sibisi,” a club statement read.

“The Buccaneers have agreed a deal with Abafana Bes’thende. The deal will see the 26-year-old defender move to Orlando Stadium when the transfer window re-opens on July 1st.”
