Orlando Pirates rejected many offers from Europe!

“I received a lot of offers. There were from teams from France, Germany, Spain and Belgium.” Gabadinho Mhango told TimesLive.

“But I had a contract with Orlando Pirates and maybe they couldn’t agree on terms.

“I had to focus on Pirates when those offers didn’t materialise.

“But if the two teams agreed on the offer that would have been good. Everyone wants to play in Europe.”

In other news, Orlando Pirates rising star Thabiso Sesane looks set to spend another season out on loan.

The 21-year-old defender spent last season out on loan in the GladAfrica Championship at Jomo Cosmos.

Despite both Happy Jele and Thulani Hlatshwayo leaving the club, Sesane looks set to spend another season out on loan.

The arrivals of Tapelo Xoki and Nkosinathi Sibisi means Sesane has gone further down the pecking order in Mayfair.

According to the latest reports, Venda Football Academy as well as an unnamed DStv Premiership side are interested in the Buccaneers starlet.

“Pepe (Sesane) is one of the guys the management is really proud to have. He is a product of Orlando Pirates and he has to be protected by all means,” a source told Citizen.

“He is the future of the club and like many other players before him who were promoted to the first team.

“They don’t want him to be warming the bench or sitting on the stands.

“So, he will be loaned once again by Orlando Pirates. I think they will send him to Venda Football Academy.

“But, apparently there is also a team in the DStv Premiership that wants him and the club would consider them as a first option.

“He is patient and works really hard. I think that’s what stands out about him.

“You don’t find players like him anymore. So, when you get someone like Pepe. You have to make sure that you nurture him to the fullest.”
