Orlando Pirates look set to lose one of their midfielders at the end of the current campaign.

The Buccaneers made a massive statement by signing AmaZulu captain Makhehlene Makhaula during the January transfer window.

And now, AmaZulu are considering replacing their captain with an Orlando Pirates midfielder!

And although the midfielder is valued at almost R15 million by TransferMarkt, his contract comes to an end in June! Meaning he’ll be a FREE replacement for Makhaula.

“According to well-placed sources, Pirates midfielder Ben Motshwari’s situation is being monitored at AmaZulu.” a SoccerLaduma report read.

“As it is now common knowledge, Motshwari will see his contract with the Buccaneers expire at the end of the season.

“Depending on what Orlando Pirates’ decision will be, sources have revealed that the central midfielder’s situation is closely monitored by AmaZulu with an interest to sign him.”
