Ndumiso Mabena is still training with Pirates and he has really impressed management so far.
He has made such a big impact that management are considering signing him.

“Well, he is still with the team and training and he is very committed. He is always early and gives his all because he is keen on getting that contract,” a relevant source stated on Phakaaati.
There are some guys at the top at the Bucs who want to see him return to the club, according to the same publication.

Mabena is a man with an incredible PSL record.
He has scored over 50 goals and is very well-known amongst Pirates fans. Therefore, His experience and composure in front of goal is just what the Bucs need. Given that they have scored just once in their last four outtings.

Mabena wants to return to Pirates. Especially, after seeing Kermit Erasmus return. However, the decision is not up Mabena.
Unfortunately, age is working against him in terms of bringing the PSL veteran to Soweto. He does have some management very impressed with him but he needs the majority to want to sign him. The fact that he is still training with the Sea Robbers means that all hope is not lost.
