Reports: Orlando Pirates offer player swap to sign new Bafana star

Orlando Pirates fans may be well-aware of Nkosinathi Sibisi’s talent by now. A man who has been picked for Bafana Bafana this week.

The good news is that Bucs are reportedly chasing the central defence talent.

ORLANDO PIRATES TARGET LATEST GOLDEN ARROWS HOT STAR

According to Soccer Laduma’s newest report, the Buccaneers have an idea to offer their loan player Mthokozisi Dube in order to sign Sibisi.

“Orlando Pirates could use Mthokozisi Dube as leverage in order to secure Nkosinathi Sibisi’s signature,” Soccer Laduma’s Wednesday 9 March newspaper reported.

As it was confirmed at the start of the season, Orlando Pirates surprisingly sent Dube back to Golden Arrows for a second loan stay.

“It is unclear if the proposed deal would be a straight swap or swap plus cash deal.”

“Sibisi is a priority for the Buccaneers in the next transfer window as they look to bolster their defence,” the report added.

Meanwhile, The South African will be keeping a close eye on the Orlando Pirates and Sibisi transfer development.

KHANYE MAKES BIG CLAIM AFTER SOWETO DERBY

As The South African reported on Saturday, Amakhosi claimed the Soweto derby bragging rights with a 2-1 win, thanks to Reeve Frosler and Eric Mathoho’s goals.

According to Khanye, it was a rather fortunate win thanks to Brandon Petersen and the woodwork.
