Orlando Pirates’ former stars Manyisa and Mhlongo launch smart football business

This could be massive. Orlando Pirates’ former stars Oupa Manyisa and Brighton Mhlongo have introduced something for aspiring players.

Orlando Pirates’ former midfielder Oupa Manyisa, and his ex-teammate goalkeeper, Brighton Mhlongo, have announced a new business venture.

FORMER ORLANDO PIRATES PLAYERS GO INTO BUSINESS 

Revealing the news via social media, Manyisa and Mhlongo held an official launch event to introduce #MyFootballCV.

So what is it? Well, it is exactly what it says and sounds like. The two former players have are set on helping unfound talent expose themselves to potential clubs in Mzansi and abroad.

The digital platform sounds pretty much like LinkedIn for soccer players. The app will be available to download on Android and IOS phones.

“Brighton Mhlongo and Oupa Manyisa have launched a game-changer for footballers!” the sportscaster Naledi Aphane reported on social last weekend.

“An app where players get to be their own agents, all you have to do is download the #MyFootballCV app, create a profile and post your vids, that easy.”

Unlike many many players before his time and his contemporaries, Shabba did not face financial ruins after leaving Kaizer Chiefs and his last club AmaZulu.

The former Free State Stars player has revealed he has always kept solid financial discipline since the day he became professional.

During a chat with Soccer Laduma’s Tshepang Mailwane in Wednesday’s newspaper, the Soweto-born player said he started saving money he was earning R200 at Alexandra United.
