Orlando Pirates set to promote another academy star!

Orlando Pirates are reportedly planning to promote another academy starlet to their first team.

The club recently gave reserve star Relebogile Ratomo his first team debut.

And now, another 17-year-old star will reportedly be thrown into the deep end at the club.

According to reports, reserve winger Mohau Nkota has been offered a four-year contract by the Buccaneers!

“What I can tell you is that Nkota hss been offered a contract by the club. They want to effect the deal in July once the Diski Challenge season is over.” a source told SoccerLaduma.

“He has done very well under Joseph Makhanya and they are fighting for the league title. So next season he will be promoted to the senior team and that’s why he has been offered a senior team four-year contract.

“He hasn’t signed yet but all is in order and once the season is over he will start preseason with the Orlando Pirates senior team.”

In other news, no Kaizer Chiefs player has scored more DStv Premiership goals than Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana this season.

The lanky Burundian striker has scored seven goals for Arthur Zwane’s side in the league this season.

“It’s pretty disappointing how the coach told Caleb that he will be gone at the end of the season. If that’s the case, you call a player into the office and explain your decision to him privately,” an un-named Kaizer Chiefs player told FARPost.

“It’s a bit inappropriate to say it in front of teammates. They were not there when the club brought the player. It gets us as players wondering if our coach would ever stand for us to protect us.”
