Orlando Pirates first team player frustrated by Bucs situation

Lack of playing time is taking its toll on an Orlando Pirates midfielder who’s yet to make a single start this season!

Orlando Pirates midfielder Collins Makgaka is growing frustrated at his situation at his lack of game-time at the club.

The former Baroka man hasn’t made a single start for the Buccaneers this season.

He has featured four times for Jose Riveiro’s side however all four appearances have been brief cameos.

To add to his woes, Makgaka has been an un-used substitute in eight matches.

His agent has since opened up on his situation, claiming the talented 26-year-old is working extremely hard behind the scenes.

Kieran Brown, his agent, however did admit Makgaka is only human and can’t be happy sitting in the stands.

“What player is happy when they are not playing? He wants to play, and he is working incredibly hard to get minutes this season.” – the player’s agent told KickOff.

“Collins is working exceptionally hard at Orlando Pirates, and fighting for a first-team place. He has two more years [with Pirates] after this season.

“At the moment, he is contracted to Pirates. All the time he is with the club, he will be working hard to push for the first-team spot.”

“Collins is incredibly professional in his approach. Of course Collins wants to play more. He wants to be on the pitch making a difference.”
