Look away Orlando Pirates fans, the next eight league fixtures are going to be causing many sleepless nights in Mayfair

Orlando Pirates face a make-or-break next eight fixtures in the DStv Premiership.

While it may still be earlier days, the Buccaneers are already nine points behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who have an additional game in hand.

In order to catch-up with the Brazilians, Jose Riveiro’s side will have to produce a near perfect performancs in their next eight matches.

But this will be incredibly tough, considering their upcoming fixture list.

The only consolation for Orlando Pirates is the fact that they play Mamelodi Sundowns TWICE. Those two matches will indeed be ‘six pointers’ in the context of the title race.
