Reports: Pirates star wanted by Arrows on loan

It really won’t be a surprise to see Orlando Pirates activate this move. The player is clearly enduring a hopeless struggle for game time.

Having made zero appearances in the DStv Premiership under Jose Riveiro, Ntsako Makhubela is in urgent need of minutes on the green grass.

According to new reports, his former club Golden Arrows want the 28-year-old Pirates attacking midfielder on loan.

“Golden Arrows are mulling over the prospect of bringing Ntsako Makhubela back to the club from Orlando Pirates on a six-month loan,” iDiskiTimes reported in their latest edition.

“The playmaker has not featured in a single game this season under Jose Riveiro after playing a peripheral role with 16 appearances last season.

“With no goals or assists for the club, he’s likely to be deemed surplus to requirements in the January transfer window with Arrows among the clubs keen on his services. 

“The 28-year-old midfielder scored four goals and registered three assists in 56 games for the KwaZulu Natal outfit before his switch the club to the Buccaneers,” the report concluded.

BUCS HERO CRIES ON TV

In other updates, one of Pirates’ superstars shared tears of joy after lifting the MTN8 crown on Saturday night.

As The South African website reported on Saturday night, the Sea Robbers were crowned Wafa Wafa champions after a sublime free-kick from Monnapule Saleng in the 25th minute.
