Breaking: Pirates announce new player deal

Orlando Pirates and Vincent Pule’s fans can take a big breather. The Qwa Qwa-born winger is staying at the Soweto giants.

This was not obvious at all. Vincent Pule is staying at Orlando Pirates for another season.

Despite a dry season on the bench, the Buccaneers and Pule have agreed on a new deal.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club can announce that Vincent Pule has signed a new contract extension with the Club, penning a deal that will see the 31-year-old remain at the club until 2025 (2026 should the club exercise its option),” the club reported on Friday.

Additionally, the Sea Robbers have also confirmed new contract extensions for Richard Ofori, Thabang Monare, Siyabonga Mpontshane and Ben Motswari.

“Meanwhile, Azola Matrose and Thabiso Sesane are currently in camp with the squad in Rustenburg where they are being assessed by the coach and his technical,” the concluded.
