Former Orlando Pirates midfielder – Siphesihle Ndlovu – has admitted to making a financial sacrifice to join SuperSport United.

SIPHESIHLE NDLOVU LEAVES ORLANDO PIRATES TO JOIN SUPERSPORT UNITED

As Gavin Hunt’s SuperSport United announced on 26 September, the former Maritzburg United star became a blue on a one-year deal with an option to extend.

“SuperSport United would like to confirm the signature of Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu on a one-year-deal with an option to extend,” the Tshwane club announced.

NDLOVU REVEALS SACRIFICE

After competing with the likes of Miguel Timm, Thabang Monare, Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, Goodman Mosele, and Fortune Makaringe, Ndlovu had to make a big decision in his career.

Speaking Soccer Laduma in the past week, the 26-year-old from Pietermaritzburg said he needed to choose game-time over money.

Ndlovu, who first began his professional career as a central defender before he was converted by Roger de SA at the Team of Choice, added to reveal that he is chuffed with the decision and still afford to meet his needs and wants.
