Pirates 3-0: ‘One goal for Rhulani, Manqoba, and Komphela’

Orlando Pirates fans can just laugh and smile this entire week, all thanks to the rousing 3-0 win over Mzansi champions Mamelodi Sundowns last Saturday.

It’s one thing to realise Sundowns can be beaten, but doing so with a dominant 3-0 bashing is something else. No wonder Pirates fans are all feeling boss across the streets of South Africa.

The result, courtesy of a Kermit Erasmus goal and a brace from Monnapule Saleng, booked a place in the 2022 final against AmaZulu on 5 November. The event will be held at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, which final game doesn’t go there anyway?

Following the staggering performance from Pirates, a whole host of funny content was produced across social media.

One of the standout posts took a big shot at Sundowns’ trio of co-coaches Rhulani Mokwena, Manqoba Mngqithi, and Steve Komphela.
