According to the Moletjie-born ex-winger, Jose Riveiro’s side are in a winning groove after victories over Golden Arrows, Stellenbosch FC and Marumo Gallants.

“Pirates are capable, they have the ability to beat Sundowns on Saturday, looking at how they have been performing lately,” Segolela told Thisisfootball.Africa.

“They have been playing well, collecting maximum points in the past few games, so that gives them the courage to go there and make us all happy,” the man known as Sox added.

“Yes, Sundowns are in good form, their system, and style of play has led them to beat every team in the league. But you know when they play against Pirates it is a bit difficult for them.

“Pirates can go pound to pound with Sundowns, it’s always an interesting game, and it’s at the Orlando Stadium. Our players know what they have to do there, and I believe they are capable of winning this match,” the 32-year-old concluded.
