Orlando Pirates forward Monnapule Saleng has truly been the Buccaneers‘ biggest superstar this season. His goal contributions are nearing 20.

As The South African website reported on Friday night, Pirates sealed a 2-1 win over the Team of Choice in Soweto. The 24-year-old Saleng was again involved in moving the balls beyond the goalkeeper’s line into the net.

The winger from Bloemhof, North West, struck a distant shot on 45 minutes before laying an assist for Terrence Dzvukamanja on 71 minutes.

The goal and assists increased Saleng’s tally to nine goals and four assist in 16 games. The former Obrit College, Free State Stars and Swallows FC attacker is on fire and the club’s Player of the Season elect.
