Every Orlando Pirates fan that adores Vincent Pule might drop a tear or two after reading this. The winger has penned a poignant message to announce his return from injury.

ORLANDO PIRATES’ VINCENT PULE COMING BACK

The last time Pule wore a Bucs jersey was back in October 2021 after he suffered a thigh injury that needed surgery. The 30-year-old winger from Qwa-Qwa came close to a return in January but a complication forced him back to the treatment.

The former Warriors FC and Bidvest Wits star has now finally confirmed he has been cleared to train and play football matches for Orlando Pirates.

It’s been 190 days since my injury,” Pule said in a message to his fans via social media.

It’s been 47 weeks and 2 days of pain, bad times, good times, great support from my family more from the supporters who always asked about my return from this injury but your love, care and support has pushed me throughout the whole 190 days without being able to do what I really love the most which is football, but I’m glad and excited to make my long awaited comeback,” .

he concluded.

Staying with Bucs, the club’s media officer Thandi Merafe has accused Tanzania’s Simba SC of using juju at the Orlando Stadium during last weekend’s CAF Confederation Cup second leg quarter-final game.
