Breaking: Departed Orlando Pirates star signs for SuperSport

Not all moves to Orlando Pirates work out. Thulani Hlatshwayo has move on to join SuperSport United after leaving the Sea Robbers ship last month.

SUPERSPORT UNITED ANNOUNCES FORMER ORLANDO PIRATES STAR

The club known as Matsatsantsa announced that the 32-year-old from Soweto has put pen to paper on a one-year deal, including an option to renew.

“SuperSport United is delighted to announce the arrival of former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana captain Thulani Hlatshwayo on a one-year deal with an option to renew,” the club reported.

EAGER TO WIN TROPHIES

The Ajax Cape Town academy graduate was available to share his thoughts on the move, saying the club have a competitive culture and squad.

“SuperSport United is a team that is known to win trophies and I hope I can share my experience which means I have to equally work hard,” he said.

There is competition in the team which is good for the energy around the players as well as keeping the togetherness and I will make sure I earn my right to play.”
