Orlando Pirates have done what they always do before every new season: controversially release players before unveiling new talent.

As The South African website has been reporting over the past few weeks, the Sea Robbers have signed six new players.

They include Tapelo Xoki, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Miguel Timm, Evidence Makgopa, as well as Azola Matrose, and Shane Saralina.

We have to mention at this point that this is purely guessing. It is not known who the new coach Jose Riveiro will like and what formation he will go for.

Additionally, we have excluded Olisa Ndah in favour of the new central defenders, just for interest sake, otherwise, we are well aware that the Nigerian is the best number five at Bucs.

The club’s other new signing, Saralina, is a left-sided central defender, but we have placed him in a left-back position below.

Matrose is not in the line-up as he is set to remain at Chippa United on loan.

Here is a 4-4-2 line-up with the six new signings:

  1. Richard Ofori – Goalkeeper
  2. Bandile Shandu – Right Back
  3. Tapelo Xoki – Central Defender
  4. Nkosinathi Sibisi – Central Defender
  5. Shane Saralina – Left-Back
  6. Miguel Timm – Central Midfielder
  7. Goodman Mosele – Central Midfielder
  8. Thembinkosi Lorch – Right Wing
  9. Deon Hotto – Left Wing
  10. Evidence Makgopa – Striker
  11. Eva Nga – Striker.
