Following a tough season at Bucs on the sidelines where he only made 12 appearances, the 24-year-old Sam did not really struggle as much off the field.

The Gqeberha-born star grew up in Motherwell dreaming of German cars, before all of those boys dreams became a reality, thanks to his moves to Highlands Park, Bloemfontein Celtic, and eventually to Orlando Pirates.

The club announced that Sam has been sent out on loan to Maritzburg United to enjoy better game time before returning to Bucs next season.
