It’s July, everyone is doing business. The latest PSL club to announce deals is the KwaZulu Natal midlands’ Maritzburg United.

The new coach, John Maduka, has signed Bongani Sam from Orlando Pirates on loan, as well as the central defender Bonginkosi Makume from Baroka FC and the former Royal AM midfielder Given Mashikinya.

Additionally, the Congolese attacking midfielder, Karim Kimvuidi, has finally been registered after spending an extended period waiting for his work permit.

“Club Update, The #TeamofChoice are delighted to announce the signings of Given Mashikinya, Bonginkosi Makume, Bongani Sam, and Karim Kimvuidi ahead of the upcoming 2022/23 DSTV PREMIERSHIP Season,” the club announced.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if the new coach Maduka will successfully coach and develop players to sell like former coach Ernst Middendorp did at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
