As The South African website reported on Saturday night, Hotto gifted VFA a second-half equaliser before Thembinkosi Lorch slotted home an extra time winner to send the Sea Robbers to the quarter finals.

Accepting his Man of the Match award after the game, the Pirates midfielder Timm confirmed a dedication to Hotto.
“We made it difficult. It was unfortunate with Deon, and that’s okay, we make mistakes,” Timm told SuperSport TV as per Soccer Laduma.

“I would like to dedicate this victory to him. I want him to keep his head up and we keep moving forward,” the former Marumo Gallants captain added.
In other reports, Sundowns midfielder Andile Jali, who has been linked with Kaizer Chiefs, was not spotted at Chloorkop on Thursday.

Following last week’s dramatic reports on attending training under the influence of alcohol, the DStv Premiership champions might be moving on from the former Pirates midfielder.
