The Soweto giants are at it again. Reports say Orlando Pirates are attempting to beat Kaizer Chiefs to a big target.

REPORTS: ORLANDO PIRATES TO SNATCH KAIZER CHIEFS TARGET?

As it was widely reported in recent months, Amakhosi have been linked with TS Galaxy’s highly-rated central defender Given Msimango, especially with the likes of Erick Mathoho and Thabani Dube linked with departures out of Naturena.

With very little surprise, Soweto rivals Pirates have now entered the race to sign the 25-year-old from Brakpan, Gauteng.

SEARCH FOR A TOP DEFENDER

According to Soccer Laduma, the Sea Robbers are in the market for a central defender, and Msimango is one of the names mentioned in the Bucs offices.

“Orlando Pirates are widening their search for a top defender, with Siya sources revealing that they have added TS Galaxy’s Given Msimango to their radar,” the outlet said in their latest edition as shared by @RealTshemedi via Twitter.
